Hays + Sons Supports Camp Saturday and the People’s Burn Foundation

Hays + Sons was proud to spend Monday night with Jeff Saturday and some of the kids from his camp.
The People’s Burn Foundation supports burn survivors and their families through camp and other therapeutic activities. Camp Saturday is a week-long residential camp for children who are burn survivors to heal from physical and emotional scars by providing an opportunity to “just to be kids” with volunteer counselors comprised of mostly firefighters and paramedics. This emotionally rehabilitative camp helps children to understand that although their skin was burned their hearts and minds were not.
