So you have experienced an unfortunate disaster to your home, and you now have a temporary fix to the problem. Right now, you are probably confused about what will happen next. Unpredictable disasters are stressful to deal with, so it can be difficult to understand the whole process completely.
Here’s what will happen:
First, a customer service representative from Hays + Sons will contact you to set up an appointment for an estimator to visit your home. The estimator is an expert; they’ll answer all your questions to be sure you know how exactly what the next steps are. They’ll document the damage and use this information to create an estimate, in much the same way as your insurance company does.
We will meet with your insurance claims adjuster to be sure everyone is on the same page, and there are no surprises. We will be in full communication with your insurance company and the adjuster to reach an agreement on the price of the work that needs to be done. Once we have a structural repair agreement, one of our experienced project managers will take over and communicate everything that will happen and when exactly it will be happening.
Throughout the process, your project manager will be communicating with you clearly and often.
